Hello, I recently got my quadrajet rebuilt but they sent it back to without this vent cover. I was wondering if this was a mistake or intentional. Is this piece important? Should I just go buy? I've tried contacting the re-builder but haven't heard back yet so probably won't get an answer from them.

Well heck yeah it's important. Even if it wasn't, what kind of outfit send it back incomplete? That's just wrong!

+3.. Yes you should get everything back - leaving a part off should be your choice.
I typically take a picture of the part before I drop it off.

Thanks for the insight. I don't want to throw the guy under the bus for a probable honest mistake. Other than that vent cover missing it was a wonderful rebuild.
