How do you tell if you have an original front bumper or not?
I got hit last week and my course of action will depend on whether or not my front bumper is orginal.

Hmmm Joe, I just voted for you BTW! In your car show profile you said the car was originally a 350. You've got the Pontiac arrow on the bumper in your photo which would indicate it came off a 400 car unless someone added that at some point. If you are talking original as in made by Pontiac or reproduction, the original bumpers will have a "made in Canada" stamp on them.

Where is the stamp at? Is it visible without removing the bumper?

Should have elaborated on that part, it's on the inside so the bumper needs to be removed to see it. I just bought a bumper last night (which I haven't seen yet)so I may have one to sell in a while if interested.

No, just the bumper was smacked. It really isnt all that bad, but the chrome was cracked and slightly dented so it will need to be replaced.
