Hi guys, I talked to a few people on the board. I thought I would put up a few pics of start to almost finish. Hope you enjoy the pics. Thanks all, Jim
Hey Jim, was looking again at the pic of that pretty blue paint, thinking how sweet it's gonna look as the chrome goes back on. Any new pics? Hoping to satisfy my "jonesing" while waiting for mine!
I am having fun with the front nose on the car.I think I got it figured out, will be pulling out of the garage this weekend and get some more pics. That blue paint really pops in the sun.
Hi guys, here is a few more pics as she is going back together. The rims will come off the car in a short time.Thought I would use these will it got painted so they served a purpose in life.Jim
Looking very nice! The nose lined up great. I know how hard that is to do! What method did you use to mount the rear bumper without scratching the new paint?
The back bumper was easy, just have 2 people. The front nose is a pita. It took a lot of time to figure it out. Not sure how many times of putting it on and off.Got it close but still off a little bit.20 hours in to it.you guys can judge
Thanks Jim, not only do the pics help with the 'jones' they may even help me talk a few more bucks out of the monthly budget for mine if I show them to mama. LOL Been to hot in Norcal to work on the bird (108F) but maybe this fall if Salmon season starts late. That blue sure pops against the chrome! Have a good one, Ron
