I have a 69 Firebird and I am replacing the trunk floor pan. I am not having any luck finding the braces that go from the trunk pan (extension) to the rear quarters. This brace is also the support for the bumper mount area I thinking. Anyway the only ones I have found are the smaller single hole one that I think are for the 67-68 years. The ones on mine have 2 holes and are wider. Anyone know where I might find these?
Try calling a Goodmark dealer directly. I seem to remember a conversation I had about four years ago that they made them, but were not really advertised or in their catalogs.
Other than that, no other leads, sorry.

I called Goodmark and the only carry the one hole brace. They said to try Firebird Central but I already did. It's amazing that they can reproduce everything else in the trunk area except that one brace.

I'm at the same point in my build can't find the brace anywhere. Have already tried Franks, no help. Talked to a guy parting 69s in Nevada who argued all his had the oval piece with 2 holes and the piece we need does not exist. Mine did have them and I need the right side before I go to paint. PLEASE let me know if you find out anything. Thanks, I'll do the same.
Good luck with finding some of these as I have only seen the small one hole ones reproduced. I think the only way is getting it from a wrecked or part vehicle.
What about buying the 68 brace and modifying it, if you can weld that is? I can measure mine and take as many pictures as you like. My car is on the rotisserie still and easy to do. I replaced on the drop portion of the trunk.
