I just want to know if there are anyone who has bought Replacement Rochester quadrajets from Classicindustries? And if it´s good. Think the sell them for about US$ 250-300 (350 400 1970 federal US$250,95 ) Or perhaps a little more, I´m looking at 2003 catalogue price. I´m nor sure if they are complete ready to put on or if it´s missing details like lever extensions, brackets and other small things. Is that a good deal? I´m planning on replace the Holley 3310-1 with a Rochester I will be grateful for any advice what so ever Tommy

Hey Guy’s, is only Tom who’s got experience of these replacement carburetors ? Thanks Tom , I´m using fuel hose instead of steel pipes so I guess it won’t make any different for me, but Why has they done that change?
If you could spend that sum say US$ 300 for the California 4BBl is there a better choice , or better company . What about Edelbroks Thunder series , has it been tested by any FGF drivers? Anyone? Thanks Tommy

I "heard" from someone who bought a carb from Classic that had the numbers ground off. The choke apparatus was wrong for the application and the linkage did not work right.
Caveat Emptor
The Edelbrock replacements can not be fine tuned the way a factory Q-jet can be.
