Ok,received the new interior pieces made by PUI, are the original pieces glued to the boards?? My originals seem loose, and the new rear 1/4 pieces aren't glued to the new boards.
Not sure about a coupe but i have some new window crank covers(i'm assuming this is the part you speak of because it is the only area back there with any board) i bought for my convertible about 10+ years ago i never installed yet and the boards are glued to the vinyl and underlayment with the exception of the area where the trim piece is installed and the area above the board, the vinyl and padding is no glued. These will be glued to your old metal piece that you need to reuse with your windowfelt and then glue all together as one. They should be a bit solid but will have a bit of flimsyness to them because they are technically split between the metal and board but will be solid once installed on the body. Here are a few shots of mine: Hope this is of some help

David, Thanks for the info...well I finished installing the rear 1/4 trim and the armrest. My originals were only glued around the edges (backside). Nothing was glued to the face of the panels themselves...David, the coupe also has an armrest (where the ashtray is)and this was glued the same way. My new panels were made by PUI and the armrest's didn't come with any padding like the orignals had. I went and purchase some heavy felt which worked perfect. Whole project including sanding and painting the backboards, took about 5 hrs and came out great.
Cool, i'm sure it looks great! The verts armrestcovers and well covers i have also didn't come with any padding, only the vinyl.
