From the looks of the latch, it is a '67 hood. Would fit all three years with the correct latch. Probably worth $250 - $450 depending on condition and extents of bondo. I need some friends like that!
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure. Oh, and store it on its side edge, not on the back points. Those are really easy to grind down and hard to put back.

Thank you, I will put on side , Sounds like a good idea . Yes, just was talking about muscle cars with co-worker and told him I'm restoring a 67 Firebird, and he said he had a Hood from a Firebird that his brothers friend dropped off 20 years ago, I thought he was BS ing me until I was looking at it. Lol. I guess you never know what's in someone's garage.

I will pull it out of bag and look at it, it was in a few pieces when I glanced at it, roughly how tall is short tach vs tall tach.??? Do you need a Tach ??Im happy i scored the Hood , couldnt believe in a casual conversation the end result. I did ask if Brothers Friend left anything else, felt bad asking ,but had too. Lol

correct storing...someone knows! when I bought a used 400 hood from Canada, the shipper stood it up in the box on its rear corner, as when it arrioved in Texas after that 'ride', were completely missing! 1.5 inches gone, both sides....had to weld in a piece of metal then bondo shape around those to get back to what it was supposed to look like....bouncing up an down in a truck on rear corners for close to 2,000 miles, not a good idea.

I had a trunk lid shipped and they must have tossed it like a spear to bend up the corner. But most shipments were good.
