First time installing headliner. Headliner was out when I got the car. Does the rear view mirror bracket get installed prior or after the headliner is installed?
As I recall, when I put mine in (long ago) I put the bracket in after the liner. Put the screws in first so as to feel them under the liner so I'd know where the holes were so I could slit the fabric, remove the screws, then install the bracket. As I recall.
