I sent out my subframe to media blast and paint. When it came back I notice that my holes in my connectors are not in top shape. When I removed it, they did not look that bad. I guess the media blast removed all the loose rust!!
Since the subframe is powder coated, I don’t want to cut grind and weld.
Can I just put a steel plate 1/8†on top or at the bottom of the connector without welding? Did any of you try that?

Thank you, Orazio
I'd be really pissed at someone. You should have been told about the enlargement of the holes after blasting.
You can buy a kit to patch correct sized holes. Don't wing it with a piece of plate. Kit costs less than $100.
