For sale is a 1968, WZ 4-speed motor, mostly complete.
Pulled from the '68 Firebird about 20 years ago, and stored indoors on a stand.
Believe it to be STD bore and is not locked. Heads were removed and lubricant shot in the cylinders and turned over by hand before storage.
Here are the parts breakdown: Carb - 7028265XF, Cxx8. Original to the motor. Has been rebuilt and currently running on a 1969 Firebird parked offsite...comes with motor. Intake - 9799068, E219...not original to the motor. Heads - #16, C118/C128. Heads have been rebuild with hardened exhaust seats and used for about 250 miles on my 1969 Firebird before I found a date code set for the '69. Exhaust Manifolds - 9779328, 1968 GTO/Tempest/Lemans manifolds. Block - WZ, C148, 9790071 Also has timing chain cover, water pump, pulleys, harmonic balancer, valve covers, etc., which may or may not be numbers matching. Carb and coil/wires in pic are late model intended for show only.
