Hi everyone. With the photo hosting issue, I'm sure this has been answered in the past but those records are no longer available. I have been pouring through the pages of the Illustrated Parts Catalogue and other resources (see attached) and still have questions.
I am building a 4bbl with PS, PB, 4-speed, and AC. The car had been gutted of original equipment by previous owners so I have no idea what it all looks like going together.
If you have them, please post up pictures (in original locations and holders, if possible) of:
1) Engine harness 2) AC electrical 3) distributor vacuum w/ dual port advance and valve. 4) AC vacuum connection (is this to the nipple on the back of the carb?) 5) Throttle cable mount and throttle linkage on side of carb

Don't know if that line was originally a color coded one like the distributor/TVS/carb lines or not. My AC wiring and vacuum diagram does not indicate a color code.
#2 - Here's photos of some AC connections including the separate AC-only 30 amp direct fuse line for the blower high speed. I had to replace mine years ago and attempted to duplicate the holder and color code and gauge of the original wire. Note that the connection to the compressor is said to have a diode in series, possibly where that yellow splice is. If it had one, I suspect it was removed for some reason many years ago when I was getting the AC serviced.
Looking deeper, these discussions are from my Chilton manual. It looks like the carb stud is also used for the vacuum advance valve. Looking at the upper left picture, there is a fitting coming out of the carb that supplies the thermo vacuum switch (5/32 with red stripe). That same picture in the Firebird Parts Catalogue lists (1) a hose 5/32"x1", and (2) a tee fitting.
My solution will be to cut 1" of red stripe hose and place it between the vacuum fitting on the carb and the tee fitting. The red stripe hose going to the thermo vacuum switch connects to the other straight leg of the tee. The branch will then be the source of vacuum to the AC system.
If anyone with original vacuum advance, PB, and AC can confirm this arrangement it would be much appreciated.

Fantastic! I am so grateful to you Jim for the pictures. I'm hoping to do all of the assembly work on my engine and transmission before it goes on the car and then to take some good pictures to share with the group. I am trying to do the research now so that when I finish, there will not be severe errors in my finished product.
