Or the 9794041 listed here at: http://www.pontiacpower.org/PontiacCams.htmFWIW, some of us prefer to call them Ram Air II cams. I think the numbers you are looking for are these: 231 240

If your cam is an 041 "clone", the specs can be listed slightly different. But, the intake lobe duration @ .050 lift is usually listed at either 230 or 231. https://butlerperformance.com/i-24453381-melling-hydraulic-flat-tappet-cammel-spc-8.htmlhttp://www.cranecams.com/product/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=23900I've read that all the currently available 041 clones are exactly the same cam, made by the same company, probably CMC. These cams are resold by the different cam companies, under different brand names & part numbers. And some of the brands show slightly different specs, even tho the cam is exactly the same. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-Ram-Air-IV-Cam-Lifter-Kit-lifters-camshaft-400-455-428-GTO-Firebird/273099623863?hash=item3f96018db7:g:0ooAAOSw2s1Uwp5F&vxp=mtr

Because it was first used for the Ram Air II cars released late in the '68 model year.

Because it was first used for the Ram Air II cars released late in the '68 model year. Just FWIW, those engines used 1.5 ratio rockers. The RAIV engines used 1.65 rockers, which made the cam act slightly larger.
