Gents, After years of trying to find my high school 69 350 auto (pre-internet days), I decided to start looking at 67/8 options and finally found a project that was started to be restored. It's 350 HO 4spd car, but not original paint or color for that matter. Mild mods like Edelbrock intake/exhaust/carb and Flowmaster. I've got a box with the original engine parts. I've been on CI and ordered the basics to get it on the road, and of course the front spoiler (which I think completes this body style), just wanted to see what you guys recommend on manuals and performance options. I'm a former 99 T/A WS6 and 98 C5 vette owner, so familiar with the LS for a possible swap, but as expected I took heat on Facebook for mentioning that. It's down the road anyway, but I am looking to at least go EFI and disk brakes, basic suspension upgrades I can do in the garage. I'm in AZ and I have a non-A/C car. As with projects, I've got coffee cans and bags of bolts, but at least a few manuals like a Fisher body manual. Wiring is shot as I found out, so pulled the trigger on American Autowire.
Congrats on the new car! 68 is a great year for birds. From PHX myself, actually plan a trip next week. Any needed parts I could drop off? Welcome to the site!
