I currently have repo's on my '68 and they look kinda cheap, not sure where they came from as they were on the car when I bought it.
Who carries the 'closest to original' rings?? I'm not sure I want to get into NOS as these can get pricey.
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I put the repros from Classic On mine and they look good. Havent drivin them far so I don't know if they will fall off yet but for $79 per set it was worth it.

I don't know where mine came from cause they were on my car when I bought it, but they make a rattle noise when you hit just a small bump.

Thanks all for the responses...Banshee, I'm not sure if I should go with the originals, or, use part #475019 through GM for 45.xx each. I understand that this is the replacement part # for 9781480 (original part). Not sure how they compare to the originals.
Blue67, I saw these and that's what got me started on this I'm just not sure what application they are for, I can't seem to cross that GM part # to an application.

Are the originals dull stainless on the inside and polished on the edge ('68)??
Anybody have any pics?
