Just wondering if any one has used the Jags dual exhaust. Their part number is 555-30550. Cost is 179.99 with mufflers and 149.99 with out mufflers. Just wonder what the quality was and the sound. I do not want a Flowmaster 40 sound. I looked at pypes but their price is to high for me. Flowmaster would be close to the same price after replacing the mufflers. I am running a 455 with headers in my coupe.
I have their 2.5" system on mine. Sound is good (not obnoxious loud like brand F, but still throaty). However the fit is not so good. There are not enough bends in the front, so the exhaust is sitting right against the floorpan (literally). Everthing past that fits great.
On a positive note, based on quotes to mandrel bend and install a new front section will still be equal to the cost of having a complete system done from scratch locally.
I was looking at Pypes originally also, but wanted to save a couple bucks. If the Pypes kit is a good fit, it'd probably be cheaper than custom.
That sound interesting. Are there any pictures available and is it okay for non headers application to. And what s the manufactures name or www address. I´m looking for a complete kit to replace the old one on my 68 convertible. And I definitely Don’t want a high sound system Tommy

I'm pretty impressed with the Pypes system so far. I ordered the x-pipe kit and bought some dynomax ultraflos from another place.
Pypes kit was $150, still need to get some reducers but I have test fitted the system and it fits perfect. I got the one for first gen F bodies that runs down the drive shaft tunnle, looks like it will improve ground clearance for me.
They have a part number for a pre-bent tail pipe on thier site, they also have the full header back systems.
I didn't need or want to pay for thier tail pipe so I plan to just get a piece of pipe bent into a U to dump behind the axle.
The mufflers are Walker Dynomax 17219, got them from Summit. They are off set inlet and center outlet, need the inlet like that due to the rear part of the X being narrow to run up the drive shaft tunnle.
