I have a 400 hood and the Ram Air hood scoops, tried to find another set but unable to, can someone verify as real?

Post a pic of the under side of the hood and we can probably tell you if it's a RA hood or not.

Real Ram Air hood or real 400 hood? A ram air hood will have some of the understructure cut out, as Firebob was alluding to. I just cut up an original 400 hood for the Ram Air setup. Not sure how you tell my fake Ram Air hood from an original since all they did was cut it the same as I did.

Sorry for the confusion, the question is about the Original Scoops, are these Ram Air scoops... They have gm parts # and are open.

I just submitted PHS last night but they are closed till next week.

Its a 1969 Firebird and loaded with rare options.

What I learned is that in 67 the dealer installed the ram air equipment and cut open the closed scoops. Not sure if GM supplied open scoops in 69

Ok the scoops have GM parts numbers and the hood is a 400 with the 400 emblems, just thought it was odd to have ram air GM scoops....
