I am seeking measurement reference points to ensure the quarter door frame assemblies are not located too far forward. The seat belt mounting hole on the quarter door frame seems to be a logical keystone.
I'm preparing to start building my car again and I am concerned with the placement of the left and right quarter door frames. This car is being built from the ground up since my original car was not square and unreliable from being hit and backyard repaired so many times (prior to me buying it).
Frame rails, trunk pan, and floor pan are all assembled. The quarter door frames are sitting on the jig and held on with body clamps.
The Dynacorn trunk pan I bought was so badly manufactured that neither Quarter Frames were aligning properly. I bought a second trunk pan and all parts aligned fairly well. I am very displeased with Dynacorn quality assurance.
