I’m rebuilding my 69 Firebird rear. Any idea which yoke is correct? Summit has one that is 27 spline and listed as 3R series. I am unfamiliar with yoke sizes so any help you can give me is greatl6 appreciated. Thank you!
I think most all the late '60's Birds & Pontiac A-bodies used the 8.2" BOP rear end, which used a GM 3R U-joint. These are also sometimes referred to as 1344 or S44 series joints.
