Did anybody else note that the Quick Reply box (as opposed to full reply window with attachment options) is suddenly missing at the bottom of a page? I had to use "reply" at the bottom of the last message of a thread in order to comment on something.

Or is this an upgrade?

Or is my browser doing something strange?

A bit of checking revealed that Geoff did a software upgrade on 9/20.

I have been torn for a long time about the quick reply for the reason a lot of people can’t figure out how to attach images since it is only found with the full reply. This can be confusing for a lot of people which we see a lot.

If it is too much of an issue, I can turn it back on for us.

FYI - I do have a major update I have to apply to the board software which I plan on applying very soon. Maybe tonight if I am feeling brave and it will go without a hitch.

Having been around here forever, I just got used to normally using the Quick Reply as the vast majority of my comments don't need attachments. Occasionally I add a web link, but I know to hit the "Full Reply" at the bottom.

I suppose I can change my old habits if it prevents frustration for our newer members.

Doesn't bother me either way as long the reply button does the job. I think it does make it less confusing though if the attach manager comes up automatic with the reply. Good job G.

I don't think it will be an issue. Just a slightly different way to do the same task. But showing you all the options..

Thanks again for all the work you do to keep this all going Geoff!

Brett!
