I hope a member can shed light on this issue. We are putting our 1968 ho350 back together and the E-brake switch appears to have always been in a straight up in position ( see pics attached). Even the little hole to keep it in line is used accordingly. Yet, all the pics we see on line show the switch on a 45 degree angle and the little hole is also in a different position (in order to be at a 45). There are no other little holes to use.
There must also be a paddle that attaches to the cable yolk (I think we may have it). Can any one help and what does the paddle part look like please..??.
Well, we have solved the mystery. Turns out the E brake assembly is for a '69 model and not for the '68. I guess at some point the original broke and my late Uncle had it incorrectly replaced. We have now ordered a correct assembly . Thank you to all that replied and helped.
