About a month to go. I've never been before. Anybody been and can offer any advice on how to go about it? I booked one extra day so I could go out to the racetrack and watch the ultimate street challenge but I've heard bad reviews that it's not very spectator friendly so I'm not sure I'll make the effort.

My wife and I had the good fortune to score credentials a couple years ago through a friend at work. We only had one day to spend, Friday, as we were at the end of a hiking vacation in Utah. I can't comment on the activities at the track, we didn't go. (Attended the national drag race the Sunday before heading to Utah.)
My recommendations. Plan on spending more than one day. The show is huge. We skimmed through a lot of it due to limited time. The main floor is a who's who of the aftermarket industry. Take as much advantage of being able to talk to these people as possible. That part of the experience was really cool. Their all car guys! Wear comfortable shoes!!

Thanks,
Dennis

I went about 10 years ago and it was awesome. There are about 2 or 3 buildings full of every aftermarket chochkie you can imagine there. Celebrity interviews and anyone who's anyone in the TV car show business is there. Lot's of hotties also at the booths as well, but I'm married and didn't really notice any of that of course wink.

I'd like to go again just for fun and not work related so I can enjoy and take it all in. 1 day will only give you a glimpse.

Yeah I'm married too but what happens in Vegas right? Anyways we're staying 4 days and then Saturday I was planning on going out to the racetrack for the ultimate street challenge. I've heard some bad reviews though so not sure I'll make the effort and expense to go do that.

Got back Saturday night from the week in Vegas. It was a blast. Man, that was a lot of walking. Lots to see and do. Don't think I saw too much that was new or innovative among the products displayed but there were a few that had a new take on an old idea. We walked and looked for 4 days and I know we didn't see it all. Well worth the effort. I'd do it again.
