Well, I hate to ask for help again. However, we have two more parts that we are unsure of. I believe one may be a speedo cable shield. If anyone can let us know and how they install would be much appreciated.
The car is almost finished and I will post pics once done.
Thanks for the reply. We already installed the correct starter wire heat shield (picture posted by another forum member). This part may not be from our car. The other on the left I believe is from the car.....could it be a fuel filter holder...??.

Bracket to hold your coil. Not seen this type on 1st gens that I have seen. Maybe off a sprint motor. Bolt hole allows it to be installed using manifold bolt and grounds the coil. A metal strap (not in pic), attaches to bracket and wraps around coil and tightens with strap.
100% guess

Your starter wire heat shield tube may be bolted to the wrong hole. See attached PDF from my 1969 Assembly Manual. Yours is bolted to a hole very near the exhaust manifold.
Also, your picture shows a heat shield bracket for the starter/solenoid. Is this factory? I may be missing this part.
Thanks. The pic i posted was off this forum. Our heat shield is mounted correctly. I don't think the sheild i show is from our car. The other holder may not be also as we have the original coil holder in place. The holder on the left is for holding something much smaller. I do however have a few more items to ask about and will post pics later today. I appreciate the assitance from members.
