Putting in new headliner and windlace around the car is in pretty sad shape after removing what’s everyone using to replace it I see classic offers an oem replacement which is quite pricey I’ve goggle it and I see that a lot of places are using a stock windlace double lip style My cars not stock so it doesn’t need to be factory but I want it to last and not fall off in a year

Don’t throw your old one away.. that’s one part I’ve had problems finding a suitable replacement. I’ve paid through the nose and still not happy.. they only sell it in black and if you want color it must be dyed., the prob is the dye won’t stick.. I’ve cleaned used additiveves and still no good.. if you happy with black OER sell a pretty good repacement...

I have all the old pieces the windshield and rear window piece I think I can reuse after a clean up and a little repair work not so sure about door pieces I do have a roll of 20 feet from oer it’s not the same but would work Mine is black
