I'm sure this has been covered but I guess I'm not searching with the correct terms. What is the correct procedure to prep the grills and is there any paint/dye that matches the factory color. Thanks

I think i rtemember the color to be "argent", not sure of brands, but I painted mine with duplicolor "silver"...

What did you clean/prep the grills with before painting and is the duplicolor a pretty close match to the original color? Thanks

I lightly sanded them , and yes it looks pretty close, close enough that it seems to match the parts I didnt paint (inside the chrome trim ring), if you need to paint that part too, maybe use a paint remover and spray them off?
