Me and my son put the nose on my 69 today What a pain in butt We test fitted the front end before paint and marked everything in hoping it would go back in pretty good shape and without a whole bunch of work Yea right Half a day latter and a few choice words here and their I think we have it
Thanks good to here from someone else that it looks good I would love to help you If I lived closer it wouldn’t be an issue I’ll post some more pictures of before, during and almost done
Headlight cushions are oer Headlight surrounds one is new the other original And it’s also oer Everything else is original as far as I know The driver side is the new one
Looks great! Everyone who has re-assembled a '69 Firebird front clip knows what an absolute PITA it is. Makes me wonder how they did it at the factory.
Thanks as far as factory they probably had some kind of jig to go by But I would love to know how they did Even better someone who actually worked their but they be at least 70-90 years old
In all the years we never had the front nose apart, infact I'll guess it has never been apart in 51 yrs. But a question. When you say you put it on, Does that mean as one part (already bench assembled) or did you install piece by piece?

Hi Mickey; What advice to do you have for taking the front end apart and replacing it? I'm removing all my doors and fenders too. Yours turned out great! Thank you, John
