Looking to replace our 69 FB convertable top. I cant tell if the trim panel below the rear plastic window ever came on a 67/69 Firebird?? Most I see have all plastic rear window, but maybe the deluxe interior had the rear panel? I dont know. Someone who bought a new FB convt write back and tell me you owned one with the panel, so I can justify one on mine. Thanks! Cole
I have had my '68 for 51 years. If you mean a strip of top canvas across the bottom under the window; it was not on mine. My '68 has the custom (aka deluxe) interior.
These photos are from '70 and '73 showing the original top. (It is so dirty in the 1970 picture because it was the last day of a two week 2-3 thousand mile trip.)
No, the clear plastic goes all the way to the bottom. fgfs also did not come with folding glass windows in the convertibles. I hear that one all the time too.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not sure.
