No, not General Chuck Yeager and the others, but 'the Right Stuff' fuel lines. Any one use these lines? They say they're made in the USA. I can get them this side of the border so the shipping wont be more than the cost of the parts, like other stuff I buy. If they are recommended by anyone who has actually used them?
Yes, the right stuff and in line tube are the two suppliers of pre bent brake and fuel lines. Usually pretty good stuff. My advice is go steel. The stainless is hard and stiff and tough to work with
Yes, I used them in my car. I originally bought the SS lines and after trying to put them in I went with the standardsteel lines. Almost impossible to put the SS lines in as they would not flex very good. Much easier to get the standard steel lines in especially the one going to the rear of the car.
Thanks, good to know ahead of purchase. Original factory steel will last 50+ years, no reason steel replacements shouldn't last as long. Especially since the car spends most of it's time in the garage.
You put any spring wrap around them like the originals?
May have to go back to plan A, bending my own. Amazon ca, $160 plus $149 shipping. plus 12% tax. Whatever you pay down there costs about 6-8 times that here.
I have an original set of front brake lines out of a rust free Cali car I can sell you. Real good shape. Maybe save you some?? Make me an offer if interested.

They come with the spring wrap already installed like originals.
