Looking to replace pilot bearing in my 69 but can't find the correct one. Searched many online companies and called several but there doesn't seem to be a concensus on which one is correct (didn't have one when i bought the car years ago and been sitting in garage not driving it). I was hoping someone has some experience here with replacing it and can recommend part number/manuf etc. I guess i could wait until i have it all apart and take measurements but i was hoping to have in advance. Any help is appreciated.
Go to any parts store or supply store and get a 7109 bearing. SKF bearings are considered one of the best, usually cost twice what some of the others do. It's a ball bearing not a bushing like chebbys are. Rock auto or one of the other on line stores you have down there might have it listed for your car, but the local O Reilly's or one of the others should carry them.

You sure your talking about the pilot bearing and not the throwout bearing?
Here is an example throwout and pilot. I like the solid brass as opposed to a bearing. Pilot bearing

BOP has it. Their part number is PPB126. They have the size listed as 1.3780 OD x .5906 ID x .3543
They say a 6202 is too wide. I don't know anything about 'em & have never bought one.
