Finally have a day nice enough to blow the dust off the bird and found my tach quit working correctly.
Is a Sunpro Super tach II, mounted on the steering column, anyone know of a good tach I can use to replace this one?
Was only in for about 15,000 miles. Want one to last longer than that and show the correct rpm.

The tachs need to be seal up tight as moisture will penetrate the casing and cause corrosion on that need arm thus slowing the action of the tach until it seizes.

Wouldn't be exactly period correct but you might try a digital one next time. No moving parts.
