Since I have got my Firebird the engine occasionally dies when I make a left turn driving slowly. Initially I thought it was only when the engine was cold. But meanwhile I have observed this behaviour also when the engine is hot. It is not always and rather rarely. Any ideas? The car has got ps, a 2 speed and 2bbl ‘68 350.

Could be just the extra drag from the power steering. Maybe bump up the idle speed or adjust the idle mixture screws

I've got an auto GTO that does the same. Usually while backing and turning.
