Don’t think the alt Mount had color. I’ve seen black on the heat riser shield but it seems like being bolted onto the ex man like that it would tend to burn off some of the paint if you did. I would leave it natural unless it started to rust and look bad.
Thanks, John. I often wondered if the heat shroud should be matte black. I've seen both natural and black. The original literature showed them as black but wasn't sure if that's what went into production.
