Anybody have torque specs/recommendations for the rear suspension on a 68? I’m replacing the leaf springs and just wondering how tight to go with everything, upper/lower shock mounts, shackles, and the U-Bolts? Going with 4 U-Bolts instead of 2 and 4 T-Bolts.

Only one I didn’t see was the U-Bolt/T Bolt specs to see how tight a guy should smoosh the new pads on top and bottom of axle?

Those specs. are German - Gutten Teight.

For anybody looking at this thread it is very important to retighten the bolts especially the axle u-bolts and t-bolts after about a 100 miles. they will most likely be to loose after everything seats in.
