Hi All!
Thought I might just share my recent experience of finding my ‘69’s original Build Sheet!
The other day, I had cause to remove my back seat to sort out a seat belt issue. I’ve checked for the build sheet before all over the car, Including under the seat, and given up on ever expecting to find it. As I was putting the seat back into the car, I noticed a bit of paper in some of the sheep fleece wadding.

When I investigated, I found the sheet caught between the wadding and a spring. It was slightly worse for wear and there were many torn fragments embedded in the wadding. So I painstakingly picked through the wadding with tweezers. Some of the fragments were tiny. But it was totally worth it. After all these years it made my day!! I’ve checked the VIN and it actually is the correct sheet too! Can’t believe I was so excited...

But hey, I guess that’s what the passion is all about.

Cool, I found one stuffed under the passenger seat cushion and one under the rear carpet.
