What could cause the power fuse in the fuse box to blow? I have a electric fan but will be changing it soon. I changed the alternator to a 1 wire 100 amp. I have notice it takes about 10 or 15 minutes before it will blow.

Did this start after the Alt swap? Or has it been a while since then? And did you eliminate the Voltage Regulator or by pass it or?

Sounds like this may be part of the issue perhaps?

Brett - 67 Drop Top 455!

The fuse started blowing after I put the alternator on it. Was told all you had to do was run the hot wire to the alternator sense it was a 1 wire alternator.
