My '68 Solar Red convert with code 258 has multiple red shades and gloss levels. The dash pad, upper dash, door lock pulls, dash assist handle, visors, etc. is a burgundy. I have attached a couple color charts with paint codes, one from the Pontiac parts illustrations book and one from a PPG color chart.
