67 and 68 deluxe steering wheels are completely different from one another. So I am unclear what you are asking. Pictures would help.

The drawing I have list it as 67/68 deluxe steering wheel. You are correct the bezel assemblies are different the bezel assembly on my 67 is part # 9787953.
