Hey guys, first post on here. I’m looking for some info that I haven’t been able to find as of yet:

What are the differences between the 67-68 and 69 upper “x” filler panels that originally came on 400 models and AC cars? I’m looking to add some to my 68 that originally had a 350. I see a few repros on the market, but some claim to be for 67-69, while others are 67-68 specific. I’m unsure what to believe.

For the record, I’m not worried about correct appearance, as the car is modified and not a show car. I just want what I buy to fit well and work like it should.

The 69 ones have an extra slot like feature. They work fine on all years. I’ve got some 69’s on my 67. I think the repop ones are the 69 style

Thanks, that’s what I was after. There are a couple places selling the 67-68 style, but they only come in bare steel and availability seems to be an issue right now. I’m going to give the 69 style a try.
