I am considering buying a 1967 Firebird convertible, original 326 engine was blown and replaced with a Pontiac Lemans 350, 2 speed automatic, solid frame, some bondo, some rust on quarter panels, original interior is okay, car is drivable. I have attached photos. I appreciate any comments.
I can't tell by the pictures but just keep in mind if you know there is bondo then there is more hidden rot you can't see. Also my opinion a 2 speed power-glide is not a preferred transmission. If you are looking for rust free then remember any little rust bubble grows as you strip it. If its something you always wanted and are willing to put money in it then if the price is right go for it. I can tell you it looks great compared to mine but in the end I will know whats under my paint
