Has anyone ever noticed that the engine ID on Wallace racing PHS and firstgeneration are all conflicting

I am also still unsure as to the conflicting information for the WZ & YW codes.. Wallace has the WZ as 335hp HO and YW as 330hp standard which is opposite to the PHS and FIRSTGEN.

Does anyone happen to know an answer to this ?

would you happen to know what the conflicting information for the WZ and YW on Wallace they have WZ as a 335hp HO and YW as a standard 330hp PHS has YW as 335 hp HO and the ID chart on firstgen shows conflicting information for the two codes any deas?

I am no pillar of memory these days but have a library of books from back in the day and the stuff that I trust shows WQ AND YW as the HO motors. I have read this through a few times and I could only find a few small unimportant errors, It's a good reliable source by a fellow Pontiac enthusiast.

I was looking through Wallace trying to find any info about the conflicting information for the codes WZ & YW that are noted on the Firstgen site when I noticed the errors looks like Wallace has a few mistakes I did send an Email to Wallace but no reply as of yet.

I 100% agree with barnbird. Also, I have a 400 HO with a YW engine (and from the factory it has the long branch manifolds to help with the horsepower) that is numbers matching to confirm this data.
