I drive a 69 Firebird. Here in Switzerland you have to approve the car by authority in regular periods. More or less everything is fine but they complained that the "manufacturer plate" is missing. There is a plate in the engine compartment and the vin tag behind the windshield.
My question: Should be a plate somewhere else? If yes, where (picture). If no, I need evidence for that.
The first page of the 1969 Pontiac Service Manual and/or the first page of the 1969 Body by Fisher manual should identify the plates/tags the factory attached. I don't have '69 manuals to show you but here is the information on the '68's as an example: https://www.firebird400ho.com/mdocuments-library/
I read that there was a decal/sticker GM started adding on the door of the '69s and after that would have the VIN on it but I cannot think that is what they mean by "plate".
