I have a 69 400 with what i think are 73 rally wheels HW code these wheel have the 73 center cap ( polished with the arrow)
I would like to try to get the 69 center caps from good mark or someone I am not sure if you can use those center caps on the 73 15x7 wheels any input would be appreciated

Go to Ames Performance and get the repop centercaps. They have a stud on the back that goes through a round plate and secures with a locknut. They should work fine with your wheels

This is one area where the new design is far superior to the existing clip design. As Bob described it is a round plate with a screw to attach. The clip design is hard to install, easy to steal and can come undone on the road.

Thanks again Bob !! btw I see the trim rings on the 69 wheels are different not as wide I am thinking the correct rings would not fit but I may check out ames on that as well You the man Bob
