Decided to remove my convertible header trim pieces to have them rechromed. Got the pieces off without damaging them but I am questioning if they are original. There are no GM part numbers anywhere and they just don't look like something GM would have manufactured 55 years ago. The riveting looks too evenly spaced. Does anyone have any insights into this. They seemed to fit well but I would hate to spend a bundle rechroming repops.
