New to the forum, and this question has probably been asked before, so I apologize in advance...
I have a stock '68 convertible 350. Planning to put 15x8 Rallye II wheels on it with 4.5" backspacing. Will P255/60's fit without interference on the front and rear?
You’re not required to put giant meats on a Firebird. Mine has 215-70-14’s all around and it looks great. I had 215-65-15’s on there for a while and they looked good too.
Thanks for the reply, Bob. Yeah, roger that... it's currently running 205/70 14's all around and they look fine, to be sure. I picked up my '68 about three years ago and have been slowly taking care of things that needed to be done; replaced the fuel tank and straps, fuel sender unit, filler neck, cap, fuel lines, fuel pump, new shocks all around, completely replaced the rear suspension (that was fun... not!), new alternator, new belts, new starter, new hoses... the list goes on... LOL - I'm sure you know the drill, too. The current wheels though, are pretty sad, so I decided to go to 15's and chrome from Vintique - and after perusing images online, decided I like the look of the fuller tires on them.
