I have a 1977 Pontiac 350 motor that I would like to put into my 1967 Firebird while I build something special for the ole Bird. I have the early style motor mounts on my frame and bought an adapter kit and new early style mounts. However, when I try to install the motor in the car, the passenger side is about 1/8 of an inch off, while the driver side is about 1/2 inch off from the hole in the mount on the frame lining up with the hole on the rubber motor mount. Could I have the adapters in wrong or???
