I have my factory dash pad and am wondering if I can paint it with much success? My car was originally gold, but now is blue. The dash pad is a very dark goldish color and almost looks black, but isn't. I bought one from Classic but wonder if the original will fit better.

Use vinyl dye. I plan to re-do mine here soon.

The repos are junk. If your original one is in good shape yes you can dye it another color and will be better than any repo one. Just use a good quality vinyl dye and follow the directions as far as cleaning it and preping it for the dye. I had my original dash redone by Justdashes and dyed it the color of my interior. I used the vinyl dye in the spray can from Classic Ind.
