I have power ‘69 front discs in my ‘68 vert( I dunno…they were there when I bought it, I just added power) In the past few years, I have replaced all components, except for the hard lines. Most recently(1 year ago) I replaced the master cylinder and booster…because I literally ran out of brakes! Enough BS…I don’t feel I’m getting enough braking. I can’t lock up the wheels.
The hard lines at the master cylinder were challenging to refit, and some might be pinched to less than 100%. Might this be the issue?
Also, I only get 11” of vacuum with my cam.
Thoughts?
I'm a hobbyist. Not a professional. Don't be hatin'!
With only 11” of vacuum your booster isn’t doing much for you. A vacuum can may help but in my experience that only gives you more volume of 11” vacuum. I ended up adding an electric vacuum pump to get the vacuum higher.
