I wanted to stop back here to thank the people on this site, past and present, that helped me with my Bird. We bought it for our 40th wedding anniversary 6+ years ago. Youall helped me get it running like a scalded dog but life got in the way more times than not, only putting a bit over 1500 miles. Wife and I agreed, we hated to see it sit, potentially rusting away, so the decision was made.

Our daughter put a pic, details, on facebook. Within hours a friend of hers, her 1st car was a 68 convertible, wanted to see it. They had started looking for a car but covid hit. 2 days later the new owner was living her dream. I did advise her of this site, my userid, to see if I was lieing about the condition, the trials and tribulations I encountered, a place of information and good advise.
