My car had a tach when I got it but it didn't work. I replaced it with a reproduction in about 1995. I stopped working about a year ago. Are there any tutorials about how to take it apart or how to fix it. I don't want to buy another one because I'd have to get it painted to match the hood. It appears to be glued together. Can it be taken apart so I can reuse the outer shell?
