Pre moulded carpet from Al Knoch fit well in 5 of my 'birds. They have the correct weave as well.

2 piece is correct and when you go to install it, put all the seat belt bolts in so you can feel for them and use a razor knife to cut the holes so you don't end up playing hide and seek.
Oly how are your underlayments? The black tar sound deadening sheets. If they are intact and there is no rust under them go ahead and re-use them. They make a huge difference in sound and heat. After 55 years they get kind of brittle and when you try to remove them they break apart. The repops are pretty good, Dynamat is good, but since you are doing carpets you may as well go all the way. How are the floorboards? When I get done with them I always use a generous coating of POR-15 or other fine urethane sealer.
Drivers side floor board had a decent amount of rust so I replaced it from the seat forward. Passenger side was good. Fresh seam sealer for the seams. The deadening sheets were garbage. I decided to use 3 coats of herculiner gor heat and noise reduction A few have said it works better than the deadening sheets.
Maybe it is me but I seem to suffer a LOT of water leaks. I like to be able to remove the sound deadener so I can dry out the floors. I intend to keep this convertible inside a garage but things do happen.
