Just curious if anyone has dealt with this issue when trying to adjust door glass. Both doors are aftermarket but all the internal components are original except for the guides. The problem I’m running into is when I try to roll the window all the way up the little black bumper that is supposed to come into contact with the guide is actually catching the bottom of the guide preventing window from going up any further. I’ve adjusted the track as much as it will go but still not nearly enough clearance, so I guess my next question would be do I just need to bend to the guide towards the outer door to get the clearance I need or am I overlooking something here? I got a pic below with the window down so you can see the clearance issue
I see what you mean. That guide sticks down too far, catching the glass channel. I think bending it will defeat the purpose unless you can get it to still rub against the glass as it should. The stock part is much shorter and the fuzzy part clears the glass channel. The right ones are getting hard to find. I found some on Fleabay but they are getting stupid expensive. Without them, you get the dreaded F-body door glass rattles.
